Followers of Jesus Pursuing Joy in Jesus Jesus came to earth 2,000 years ago, fully God and fully man. He healed the sick. Cared for outcasts. Forgave sinners. Fed the hungry. Quieted storms. Confronted hypocrites. Welcomed children. Spoke life-giving truth. He died on the cross, breaking the power of sin and paying the penalty of sin, so that by trusting Him we can be forgiven and brought into the joy of knowing God. Then he rose from the dead, showing that all he taught was true. He is alive today. He longs to change our hearts and forgive our sins, so we can have the joy of knowing God and pursuing God’s purposes in the world. Sunday Services When we meet Sundays we meet at Allen at Steinbeck Elementary School, 820 Steinbeck Avenue (near the intersection of Blossom Hill and Santa Teresa). We meet at 10 AM. [Directions and map] What to expect We've done our best to make Mercy Hill Church as user-friendly as possible, whether you are a long-time church-goer, or this is your first time giving church a try. [more] Home Groups A Home Group is 6 to 15 people who meet weekly to help each other pursue joy in Jesus. We share our joys and struggles, study the Bible, worship, and pray for each other.
