Our Aim It’s tough being a junior higher! But Jesus’ love and promises are strong enough to provide security and identity – even during the tumultuous years of junior high.  So the aim of Mercy Hill’s Junior High Ministry is to help junior highers experience and grow in personal trust in Jesus, so they can experience His joy, forgiveness, and love deep in their own hearts. To do this we pursue genuine friendships between leaders and junior highers, we talk about the Bible in a down–to–earth way, and we do a lot of wild and crazy activities. Our Program Most Sunday mornings our junior highers are in adult church for both worship and the teaching of God’s Word. We do this because we want them to understand that they are part of the church, and because they benefit from worshiping and studying God’s Word with adults. So here’s the schedule we follow: On the 2nd Sunday of the month the Junior High group worships with adult church, but then at the end of worship they have their own meeting in Room F5. On the 2nd Sunday there is no evening meeting. On all other Sundays they meet Sunday evenings from 6 to 7:30 at the home of Doug and Debbie Walker. Our Leaders The Junior High Group is led by Doug and Debbie Walker and Brad Fuller.  Doug helps run a drywall construction company in San Jose, and along with Debbie has been part of Mercy Hill Church for 5 years..
